How does it work?

Non-surgical liposuction is a 2-step process:

Step 1 – High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU):

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) works by making fat cells vibrate so much they start hitting against each other and eventually collapse. Approximately 30% of the fat released and cellular residues are then naturally processed by the body’s liver and lymphatic system and eliminated through the kidneys.

Step 2 – Radiofrequency:

Once the fat has been broken down in step 1 the fat cells are then liquified via radiofrequency, which is electricity used above a certain speed to generate warmth deep in the tissues, reaching up to 60 degrees celsius. Radiofrequency results in skin tightening and slimming by liquefying and melting fat as well as contracting collagen within the skin, and inducing new collagen formation. New collagen can take up to 6 months to form which is why your skin will continue to improve even months after your initial treatment, giving you a younger and more youthful appearance. Radiofrequency is one of the best treatments for face and body shaping and it is the only medically proven non-surgical alternative to face lifting and liposuction.

Will this treatment work for me?

The majority of clients with weight concerns are good candidates for this treatment, however, it is important to know that this technology works on fat cells only and not on fluid retention. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing if a client has fluid retention or fat cells in the areas of concern until treatment commences.

Will it hurt?

Most people find the treatment painless, and liken it to a warm deep tissue massage. The treatment is designed to accommodate your sensitivity and comfort level. It is normal to experience a warm sensation and mild soreness for a few hours post treatment. Overall, it is a very comfortable treatment.
